I bought these gloves for 5 weeks of excavations in the field, while carpenters may be harder on their gloves in the long term, archeology provides any equipment a run for its money in the short term.

I used these gloves primarily for work and shovel testing of high abrasion (which really puts the palm material for the test), this is what I found.

The Good:
They really do not breathe, my sweaty palms rarely had to work even in temperatures with 90F +moderate humidity, if you do not need a hard material on top of your hands, they are bar-none the gloves to use.

They are very form fitting on the hand and got zero blisters the entire 5 weeks when they use the Velcro strap and wrist strap with elastic surface extremely hard synthetic grip gloves prevents friction or sliding while on your hands without sacrificing dexterity and feel too.

They are extremely comfortable, mostwork gloves comfortable I've ever worn, no places where they scratch / etc RUB I noticed.

The less good:
They do not seem like they would be particularly durable for periods of use more than one year, I had to rip and tear at 3 locations on the palm where the synthetic material was sewn into the glove, and the mesh I guess is not to tear or cut particularly resistant.

The Velcro strap functions perfectly, but again the long term, Velcro will be subjectto failure, and the elastic strap, while being well wrapped seems, is another potential liability. Although these two features give more comfort than the alternatives, and to keep the glove better fit your hand, they reduce the life of gloves.

Overall:
Despite its few shortcomings, I will probably never go to another type of glove again, my pair are probably worth an excavation more use in them, and after that I'll probably just buy another pair . Many of mycolleagues wore gloves or gardening gloves work is cheap and got many blisters or could not keep them on all day sweating caused by them, I could almost eat with mine on, and wore them whenever I worked.

Youngstown has produced a work glove almost perfect, and has customers in the long me.
